Who to help?

People are bombarded with conflicting messages: help struggling local businesses – or help starving people abroad (which might also rise a question “if I am not a business and not quite starving who will help me?” – but it’s another story).

I think people should help whoever they can and whoever they want. One single person can’t help everybody. As long as you are helping somebody, it is OK. You don’t have to feel guilty for not participating in a particular cause. You don’t have to choose what everybody else are choosing. Pick the causes which are closer to you heart. If everybody do this, the world hopefully will be a better place. And search for the people who are too timid, too proud, or too scared even to ask for help. They are probably the ones who need it most…
