IMDb: This Land Is Mine
We recently watched a random film, This Land Is Mine (1943). The main question risen was if it is Ok for a resistance to keep fighting when occupants are killing more and more innocent civilians in return? In the story the answer was a defenitive “yes ”. Obviously this was a second world war film. But we couldn’t help thinking about Gaza. It’s so sad to see how in the movie the characters were worried about Jewish people getting bullied and killed. And what now?
It’s difficult to believe that there is a slaughter in Gaza, a war in Ukraine but the rest of Europe and the rest of the world just carries on. .. We just carry on, having a good time. But what could be done apart from retwitting?
